What was the last game you played?
Physical game? Sport? PC game? Online RPG? Video game? Which console?
Hahahah...it's impolite to answer a question with another question -- let alone six. Okay, I'll answer the question then.
The last game that I have played -- on PlayStation2 to be specific is *drum roll please* The Da Vinci Code. And I'm proud to say that I finished it 100% all by myself. Do you want a review? Aw... I don't think you want to read me rave (much less rant). Alright then...
The game is not 100% a tie-in with the book and movie. You don't need to watch the movie or read the book to play the game. A teensy bit of knowledge in History would help but other than that, you can play this blind. It plays out pretty much the in the same venues and timelines as the book/movie - Louvre, Swiss Bank, Chateau Villette, airport, Roslin Chapel. All the same characters and their roles are there: Langdon, Neveu, Teabing, Remy, Silas, the nuns. But there are extra characters that either help you or hinder your from succeeding in your mission. Some of the organizations, affliations, words, art and such are changed in this game.
The main thing to watch out here is the placement of clues. One must be observant when playing this game. In some of the puzzles, a higher level of IQ and that History knowledge comes in handy. Even in the Easy level, the puzzles are enough to make you pull all your nose hair! Some are so simple, you will miss the sheer simplicity of it. It does make you feel stupid, yeah.
What else? Oh! Silas. There is one sequence/game stretch in the whole thing where he's coming at you and you have to unlock four locks in order to escape him. Not to mention, he's shooting at you while he's slowly looming over you. The thought of a huge, stark white, red-eyed man coming at you with a Revolver in his hand is enough to make your hair stand.
Overall, I recommend this game. Maybe not to all though. Make your life easier. Read up on History first and go join Mensa hahahahah!
Alrighty, day two. More appropriately: post two. And still, I do not know what to do with his VOX blog. I can make this a secondary blog to my LJ - probably having almost the same content as the latter. Or I can mix it up: x-post and exclusive posts. Maybe I'll go mixed. Sometimes there are some things on my mind (and life) that are so unrelated to each other that it's not healthy to post them all at once on my LJ. Every moment is special. I don't want to flood my LJ with unrelated nothingness -- then the readers (if there are any) won't be able to focus on a particular topic. (Reading it back, that statement didn't make any sense. You're smart people, right? Figure it out.)
What are my possible options? Erm... x-post, secondary blog, review blog, literary blog, photo blog, random crap blog... endless! Those not and never will be on that list of options will be: primary blog and a dead blog. In fact, I might not be MIA much over here. I will try to treat LJ and VOX the same. After all, both services are fun.
But before I end this post, some things I want to remind y'all:
CRS is now open. Freshies aka anak ng dios, as well as upper classmen aka less fortunate ones can now pre-enlist online.
Bataan field trip for Geog1 this Saturday. Excited! Two digital cameras are better than one, they say. Yay me!
I will be 18 in exactly 10 days. 'Nuff said.
Hi to you all out there! Maybe you're wondering what on earth am I doing here, in this part of Cyberspace? What?! A loyal LiveJournalist -- here at Vox?
Well, LJ partly responsible for introducing me to Vox. I signed-up about a month or so ago and kept it quiet. No posts, no pictures, no nothing. Then I decided to spruce it up a notch. Post a few originals, x-post a couple from my LJ for y'all here, publish some fanfiction and such. Idk. This is still in the making.
Would I be here often? Maybe yes, maybe no. I'm still getting the feel of the whole VOX thing. But so far, I'm liking it. I'm not seeing a move from LJ to here 100% but I will try to be active on both. LJ will be my primary vent and this...hmmm...still don't know what exactly. But lets play it by ear, aight?
Maybe I'll board the fanfiction wagon. Apart from FF.net, I'll be sharig stuff over here and y'all tell me what you think. How about that?
Do I need to introduce myself? Oh well, if you say so:
